We are experts at managing project development and implementation in a proactive manner to prevent delays, while simultaneously implementing effective project risk mitigation strategies. We provide engineering and technical support for existing assets, and technical advisory and lender’s engineering roles for asset sales.
During the construction phase, we act as owner’s engineer to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget and that they meet the expected level of reliability for long-term operation. We provide advice on the operation and maintenance of power plants, including benchmarking studies, advanced integrity assessments, and operation and maintenance strategies for new power plants.
Zutari is also experienced in partnering renewable energy with energy storage and plays a key part in developing battery energy storage, pumped hydro and other emerging storage solutions.
In delivering battery energy storage systems (BESS), we support the transition to renewable energy by providing near-instantaneous responses to variation in solar load, particularly during cloud cover, and improved power generation reliability by helping smooth the output of solar power. This functionality enables greater expansion of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Battery storage solutions have a unique ability to address multiple network needs, through storing energy and assisting in grid stability, facilitating a smoother transition into a high renewables future.
We are proud to deliver projects using the latest technology in hydro power and pumped storage. Pumped storage hydropower provides energy-balancing, stability, storage capacity, and ancillary grid services such as network frequency control and reserves. This is due to the ability of pumped storage plants, like other hydroelectric plants, to respond to potentially large electrical load changes within seconds.
