Teddy Daka
Group Chief Executive Officer:
GCEO, Teddy Daka is a renowned global businessman and philanthropist. He holds a BA Honours in Business Management from De Montfort University in Leicester, England, and a Master of Business Administration from the prolific, Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He served as the Global Chairman of Aurecon’s board, Zutari’s legacy company, from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that, he was the Group CEO of Etion Limited, which is a digital technology solutions provider listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). He is an advocate of ethical, fair, and equitable business practices, the embodiment of leadership inspired to actively lead and drive the potential that Africa has witnessed in the previous few years.
Dhiren Chetty
Group Chief Financial Officer:
Dhiren Chetty brings over 20 years of experience in strategic finance across multiple continents. As a chartered accountant (CA) SA and holder of an executive MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland, Dhiren has led complex financial operations and transformations in various industries. His career includes key roles at Impala Platinum, where he served as CFO, overseeing significant revenue operations and contributing to the company’s ESG strategy. Dhiren has also played an instrumental role in shaping financial strategies at Barclays and Anglo American, aligning financial goals with organisational objectives.
Dr Ngao Motsei
Non-executive Director:
Non-executive Director, Dr Ngao Motsei is a seasoned scholar, Leadership Consultant, coach, and author whose work is centred around rehumanising and safeguarding the workplace. She served as both an Executive Director for Human Resources and Transformation and as a management representative on the board’s Social and Ethics Transformation Committee in a JSE-listed financial services entity.
Dr Gustav Rohde
Non-executive Director:
Non-executive Director, Dr Gustav Rohde has been an active scholar, practising engineer and businessman. He is a Fellow of the South African Academy of Engineering (SAAE) and registered engineer of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) with a PhD from the USA-based Texas A&M University. Throughout the last 20 years of his career, he served as CEO of Africon, global COO of Aurecon, CEO and Deputy CEO of Zutari. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Engineering Faculty at Stellenbosch University, influencing future engineers. He has a passion for the digital transformation of the industry and the role of engineers in broader society.
Phil Hendricks
Non-executive Director:
Philip Hendricks has over 38 years of experience in the roads and transport industry. He is highly passionate about driving change in this sector. In his recent roles at Zutari, he served on the Africa Exco and RSA boards and was also a member of the top 40 global leadership groups. Philip has also delivered extensive lectures and is a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IoDSA).
Nina Auchoybur
Non-executive Director:
With 27 years of global business experience, Nina Auchoybur brings deep expertise in corporate structuring, cross-border trade and investment, and business development to her role as managing director, UAE at Ocorian. For the past 14 years, she has led the firm’s Middle East operations, strengthened key intermediary relationships and expanded service offerings across the region.
