Providing structural support at (UB) Academic Hospital
Zutari was contracted by the lead consultant to provide structural design documentation of the 450-bed Botswana University academic hospital (Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital (SKMTH)). The facility contains offices and research laboratories.
The 450-bed hospital of 89,000 m2 was initially called Botswana University Hospital. In 2018 the Hospital was renamed as Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital after the former 2nd President of Botswana. The hospital provides practical clinical training for medical students and sets a benchmark of academic excellence, research, and medical education in the region.
