Located 15 kilometres north of Doha, Lusail Stadium was envisioned not just as a venue for a global event but as a lasting symbol of national pride and urban transformation. Its design draws inspiration from traditional Arab craftsmanship, incorporating motifs from fanar lanterns and intricately patterned bowls used for centuries in the region. The project offered a rare opportunity to create a structure that would resonate with both international audiences and local heritage.
